KISSES

Just a little picture of me and Elsa. We're very busy around here - I'm trying to do the Pavlovian thing - rewarding her good behaviour and making her stop naughty behaviour when she hears a stern, not-so-pleasing-to-the-ears "NO!" So far, she's doing very well. Night time is still crazy but I'm sure we'll get there.
Training her right is taking up much of my time but I promise regular posts once the biggest hurdles have been jumped. She naps fairly often and in these quiet moments, I've got time to browse the blogosphere... So please, I'd love if you'd share your links with me!

    1. Hi Emilie, she really is a cutie. And she's not so loud at night time anymore - thank goodness!
On the day we first saw her (it would be another week before we could take her home), I was thinking of names and couldn't really decide on one. Then, I was talking about her coat and how she might end up looking a bit like a lion. I started to think of lion-type names and remembered that one of my very favourite films growing up was Born Free. In it, the lioness is called Elsa. From that point I knew there was no other name for her.... So that's the story behind the name.
