NOSE CANDY

The bloodhound's ability at scent-tracking means it is often referred to as "a nose with a dog attached". I consider myself to be a nose with a human attached - my ability to identify smell is probably my greatest sensory skill. Sadly, as far as I know, this talent isn't something I can be well-rewarded for. I don't expect that anyone's going to employ me to crawl around on all fours at the airport to seek out contraband.
I surround myself with new perfumes all the time and justify it as an important measure that keeps my nose functioning to the best of its ability. To deny me fragrances would be like denying a gifted child intellectual stimulation, denying an athlete his training sessions.
I'd like to introduce you to my latest fragrance purchase: Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia. I got it via Myer online: 100ml for $161.00. It starts off ever-so-sweet, but settles into the most addictive fragrance I've smelt in a long while. I'd say it's most similar to the best-selling, intoxicating, D&G L'Imperatrice - that'll give you an idea of the fragrance 'family' to which it belongs.
One thing I love about certain perfumes - a selling point for me - is when you pick up your clothes the next day and the smell has settled there so well that you find yourself sniffing away like a troubled starlet before you're able to prise yourself away and toss the item into the wash. To me, this is one of those fragrances:
